Cindy Peternelj-Taylor (she/her) retired in June 2022 after having taught graduate and undergraduate students enrolled in programs with the College of Nursing, University of Saskatchewan, for over thirty years. Much of her career, research, and scholarship focuses on professional role development for nurses and other healthcare professionals who work with criminal justice-involved persons. She was a founding member of the University of Saskatchewan Centre for Forensic Behavioural Science and Justice Studies. She holds the position of Editor-in-Chief, Journal of Forensic Nursing, and is a Distinguished Fellow with the International Association of Forensic Nurses.
