Nadine Schuurman (she/her) is a GIScience researcher with several areas of expertise. She was one of the developers of critical GIS in the 1990s. In the past 20 years, she has pursued health geography with a focus on spatial epidemiology and access to health services. More recently, she has focused on environmental correlates with physical activity.
