O.G (they/them) is located in so-called Ottawa on unceded territory of the Algonquin and Anishinaabe. They work remotely at McMaster University as a research coordinator within the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. O.G graduated from Carleton University with a B.A &  M.A in Indigenous and Canadian Studies. Their Master's research focused on the construction of the "ideal trans youth" as curated by the CHEO gender clinic through news media and research surveys. O.G is an active trans community organizer and is a part of SAEFTY Ottawa, The Ten Oaks Project, and The Champlain Regional Planning Table for Trans Health. They continuously push for the depathologization of trans idenities and increase access to gender-affirming care. On their days off they like to try new coffee shops for an oat caramel latte and go on hikes with their partner.
