The Advocacy and Accessibility Working Group will study access to supports for TGD survivors of sexual assault and intimate partner violence by examining their geographic characteristics (GIS Mapping), gathering insights from survivors (In-depth Interviews) and, in response, generating sector-specific recommendations with service providers (Focus Groups). This data will elucidate service gaps for specific groups of TGD survivors and inform strategies to address the current individual, relational, community, and systemic practices and policies that prevent survivors from accessing the supports they need.
